3M takes business conduct related reports seriously. Each year the company investigates hundreds of concerns, many of which are reported using the telephone and online reporting tools found at 3MEthics.com. In addition, 3M also receives questions on how to comply with the Code of Conduct and other reports that do not pose business conduct concerns. 3M's Ethics & Compliance Department carefully reviews each report and assigns appropriate company resources to those reports that require investigation. When any suspected violation is substantiated, the company takes appropriate disciplinary action and implements appropriate controls or other remediation to prevent recurrence of that type of violation in the future. For any substantiated violation, one or more employees may receive discipline, consistent with their involvement.
